Hello!
This is a special time for our congregation. With the creation of this
web site, we are able to use yet another tool for the proclamation of
the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world in addition to passing on information
to those who visit this site. It is a tool to allow you to get to know
us better.
This web site is one example of the good that can come from the Internet.
It is a change for us. We have never explored this media using a multi-page,
well laid-out site. We pray that you will come by and visit us when you're
in the area. We look forward to meeting you. May God bless you richly.

Randy
Randy Winn was born May 15, 1962 in Martinsville, VA and was baptized at age 11 at Collinsville Baptist Church. He graduated from Laurel Park High School in Henry County in 1980, about 11 months before the first date with his future wife, Angela.
In May of 1985, Randy graduated from Averett College, a few months before starting work at Bassett Furniture Industries. On May 3, 1986, Randy and Angela were married at Snow Creek Christian Church. Randy and Angela welcomed their first child, daughter Megan, in August of 1995.
Randy preached his first sermon on September 22, 1996 at Snow Creek Christian Church and began the process of becoming
licensed through the Licensed Lay Minister Program. He began serving First Christian Church Danville in 1998.
In August of 1998, Randy and his family moved to Lexington, Kentucky and Randy began seminary. He graduated from Lexington Theological Seminary in May of 2002.
A few short months later, the Winns moved to Pulaski, Virginia, and Randy began his first full-time pastorate at First Christian Church. On July 7, 2002, Randy placed his membership in our church and he was ordained into Christian ministry one week later at Snow Creek Christian Church. Randy was officially installed as pastor of our church on October 27, 2002.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-13
