About Us
First Christian Church in Pulaski was organized in 1878. While our history is rich, glorious, and must be preserved, we are more concerned about the present and the future. We seek to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ through our words, deeds, and thoughts. This allows us to practice a faith that encompasses the vision and mission statements of the congregation.

Our vision is to be people of God, as revealed in Scriptures, maturing in faith, and dedicated to loving service. In order to fulfill the vision of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Pulaski, the mission of our congregation is for us to live our faith by being Christ-like through prayer, exercising our faith, worship, and studying the Scriptures, and by making God's love visible through evangelism, stewardship, and the caring and supporting of one another.

Our Symbol - The Chalice
The chalice symbolizes the central place of communion in worship for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The X-shaped cross of the disciple Andrew is a reminder of the ministry of each person and the importance of evangelism.

Our congregation celebrates the Lord's Supper each Sunday. We practice open communion, which means it is not necessary to be a member of this congregation to take communion.
